 Description：

Venus F1 Anesthesia Monitor is designed to measure the level of consciousness during general anesthesia where the correct balancing of anesthetics or fast recovery is a concern. It has been engineered with cutting edge technology to provide the Index of Consciousness (IoC) to the anesthesia professional.

The monitor provides reliable information about the patient state providing the anesthesiologist with the ability of safe administration of anaesthetetics, both inhalator and intravenous agents. It does not need individual calibration and starts with a one button press.

The monitor records the electroencephalogram (EEG) with 3 surface electrodes attached to the forehead of the patient. The core technology of the monitor is the symbolic dynamics method. The combination of spectral ratios, symbolic dynamics EEG and Suppression Rate (ESR) for analyzing the EEG gives a superior suppression of facial EMG which otherwise could influence the index.
